By way of introduction I have done many things in my life which I will not elaborate on at this time, accept to say that I am now 85 years old and I was trained as a scientist. I graduated at Birmingham University in 1960 as a Metallurgist. My last job in industry was Manufacturing Manager of Rover Cars, from which I resigned April 1979. In November 1981 I published a book entitled I’m Not A Bloody Label I am Graham Myerscough which is now out of print. In that book I referred to experiences that were diagnosed, labelled, manic depression, as a ‘wonderland of discovery’. The website. www.issness.com is the result of continuing to experience that 'wonderland' and translating that ‘wonderland’ into theories and understanding.
I was a Founder Member, Chairperson & Director and Trustee of Hear-Our-Voice and a Director & Trustee of WVSC(Wolverhampton Voluntary Sector Council) for 9 years. Hear-Our-Voice, a Charity, based in Wolverhampton, specialised in Mental Health issues, was established as Private Company on 13th April 2000 and was given Charity Status September 2000. The Company ceased operations 31st December 2017 after providing an excellent service to its members since its inception in 1999.
For many years I had been meditating, using various techniques. It was a few years ago that I decided that, although I was quite naturally learning a lot, the techniques that I had been using, were very dated and were the very reason I could not progress further. At that time I realised that I had not clearly defined what I was attempting to achieve I therefore decided to try and develop a set of techniques of my own. Those techniques I have called TABAO techniques which is shorthand for Thought and Body As One. As a result of using and developing these techniques to achieve specific and defined objectives I have made some discoveries which I believe could prove to become of fundamental importance to the future wellbeing of the human race. My present objective is to communicate my understanding and theories to the population of planet earth; this website is one part of achieving that objective.
