TABAO CONFIRMATION EXERCISE
OBJECTIVE
To relate the TABAO summary statement to yourself and to become aware of the muscles that you use whilst engaged in the activity of thinking. You will then be able to develop those muscles and enhance your ability to think and to improve your performance and enjoyment in achieving any objective that requires you to think.
THE EXERCISE
It is recommended that you do this exercise with the mouth closed and ensure that you breathe from the diaphragm correctly whilst doing so.
Read and understand the second part of the TABAO Summary Statement, included in my website, which is written below suitably modified to the first person singular. In doing this you will automatically be confirming the truth or otherwise of the statement for yourself. Your opinion will be confirmed by doing the puzzle below and answering the questions listed.
I produce all my thinking using a specific set of muscles including all my senses and I hear and sense my thinking from within my mouth cavity. Because it is necessary for me to think in order to achieve specific objectives it is true to say that my enjoyment will be increased by learning to use those muscles and by learning to listen to my thinking that I have produced.
Solve the simple puzzle below without using pen or paper or aids(mentally) and answer the questions shown below, putting a tick, mentally, against the appropriate statement.
THE PUZZLE
A young man goes to a shop to buy two apples he has £1.00 in his pocket. The apples cost 20 pence each. How much money will he have left after he has paid for the apples?
Whilst I was solving the puzzle: -
I used a set of my muscles.
I did not use a set of my muscles.
I am not sure whether I used a set of my muscles.
I heard and sensed my thinking from within my mouth cavity
I did not hear my thinking from within my mouth cavity.
I am not sure from where I heard my thinking
from but I heard it.
NB The assumption, that what applies to you can apply to the human race as a whole, is based upon the fact that we human beings are all fundamentally designed the same apart from the obvious differences between male and female of the species.
