A TYPICAL TABAO DAY
I THINK THEREFORE I MAY BECOME OR ACHIEVE
INTRODUCTION
A Typical TABAO Day is not a set of rules that must be obeyed but some action items that you can decide to use to establish whether their adoption can assist you in the achievement of the objectives that you have set yourself, whether that be your daily objectives or lifetime objectives.
AS YOU WAKE
Do not be in a rush to wake up.
Rise and Stretch exercises before getting out of bed.
Leg cycling exercises can be quite refreshing as you sense your legs wanting to move - releasing pressure to the atmosphere.
When necessary make sure that any dream does not carry over into your daytime routines by using the necessary thinking. This is particularly important if you have experienced anything like those described in the notes on the Pictorial Image discovery page.
MORNING and DAILY ROUTINES ·
Safe and secure check of your home. Washing; choice of clothes to wear; etc. In any of these routines become aware of the fact that once you know how to do any activity there is no need to think about doing it- being in the zone etc.
CHECK YOUR BODY--. This is a straightforward check using all your senses to see if anything has changed or whether there is anything you are unhappy about. In the latter case, if it is possible, implement the appropriate self-care advice. If you consider that the change you have become aware of is concerning you and you are not aware of any action that you can take, then consult your doctor or appropriate specialist services.
AFFIRMATION OF YOUR OBJECTIVES AND CONSEQUENT PLAN.
Once you have established your life plan to meet your desired objectives the amount of thought involved becomes minimal usually involving the setting and achievement of your daily objectives. Remember only thinking as necessary.
Assess and reaffirm your objectives for the day and formulate your corresponding plan for the day and make a decision to enact that plan not forgetting your favourite exercise routines, hobbies and relaxation routines and your overriding objective to maximise your enjoyment of Being Alive,
Confirm that there is no conflict between your thinking, the plan, and the associated recalled seen information. If there is any conflict you need to resolve that conflict before you enact your plan for the day by correcting your appropriate thinking.
NB Please remember that your thinking is heard/sensed from within your mouth cavity and the associated recalled seen information can only be seen when your eyelids are in the lowered position. Doing observation, eyeball and eyelid movement exercises and all sense training are very important.
CONFIRMATION ROUTINES - Code of Conduct and Beliefs
Once you have understood and adopted the Code and the Beliefs they can become an integral part of your daily routines including thinking as necessary.
EXERCISES - MENTAL & PHYSICAL including appropriate TABAO exercises or Self-Care advice.
These should include any exercises designed to correct and heal any conditions identified during your body check, including any conditions associated with thinking. You select the exercises to match your desired objective, eg ‘I want to practice improving my thinking in my everyday routines, then you select TABAO exercise ‘Revision and Thinking Exercise’.
Mental activities can include:- Chess; Draughts; Solitaire; Codebreaker and Crossword puzzles; Sudoku. It is very useful to do some quick mental(without aids) calculations as part of your daily thinking routines. The item shown below can be quite challenging but enjoyable.
CHOSEN STORY or POEM or PROVERB
The chosen item is memorised with your mouth closed using your tongue and associated muscles. You can decide whether or not to recite the poem out loud dependent on your specific requirements. A useful action item to improve your memorising and and talking abilities. It is quite fun to make a webcam of your item or selection of items.
NOTES AS NECESSARY
During the day make a note, mentally or using ‘tools’, of anything that you think or become aware of that will enhance your enjoyment of being alive. Test the idea and then decide whether to incorporate the idea into your daily routines. Referring to the appropriate page on the website as necessary.
Remember that whatever your particular circumstances or unexpected event, your primary objective is to maximise your enjoyment of being alive and you will be trying to do this on a continuous basis as per the Being Alive summary. The adoption of any new routine brings with it a period of change, so you must expect some discomfort as you try new routines until you discover that the specific exercise, new routine or activity, has helped you to achieve your overall objective. You will discover that you do not have to think to yourself ‘I must do that exercise or change of routine’, you will just do it.
EVENING
Review your performance for the day and confirm your plan for tomorrow taking into account what you have learnt during the day and any possible unexpected events that may have occurred, including opportunities that may have arisen to enhance your enjoyment of Being Alive
