SOLITUDE

I become aware of my desires
And aware of their power
I review a plan to fulfil those desires
A walk in the country
A stroll o’er the hills perhaps.

I am content and happy by myself
Sitting at home enjoying my Solitude.
I haven’t gone anywhere.
I make a decision.
No thinking now.

I become aware of sounds
That bring me pleasure
Tastes, smells, touchings and sightings
That bring me pleasure
The decision confirmed.

I sit I observe
I hear no words no thought
Sensing my body
Enjoying my quiet,
My Solitude

SEEN FROM WITHIN

Colours of lilac
Pale shimmering gold’s
Of a future few behold.
Hues too wondrous
To draw or paint
But their glory their power
Can become a wondrous smile.
It is from this you glean
Some of the love
That’s hard to bear
But quartered, eighted and patterned
A magical journey
Becomes a magical realm
For all to share
Now and forever more.
