A Mountain Ascent

The sky was very blue that day when I looked down from the top of the mountain peak that I had just ascended. I write very blue because it was the bluest blue sky that I had ever seen.
I had thought to myself before I began the ascent, ‘I am going to walk to the top of that mountain without stopping’. I had had no real reason to set myself that objective, just an urge to do it.
I decided to rest for a while before I began my descent and allow myself to enjoy my achievement and admire the magnificent view.
I was totally alone and I had achieved my objective.
